Click on the extension icon in the top right corner of your browser.
Click on “Add a Form”

If you're not logged into Notion in the same browser, the extension will prompt you to log in.
Click on “Select a Page or Database” and choose the Database or Page where you want to save your emails.
For example, I use my database “Second Brain” to store all the information I want to keep for reference.

If you don't find the database or page you want in the list, enter some text in the search bar to find it.
It will return you to the previous screen where you can manage fields. Click "Add new Field" to add, or click on an existing field to remove/replace it.

You can add New Field by clicking on the Add New Field button
To simplify, I'll remove the "template" and "Content Image" fields, and add a "Type" field with a default value of "Email".
Finally, click on “Save & Go Back” at the bottom of the popup
Ok now we configure our form, let’s save emails to Notion.
Step 3: Saving Emails to Notion
Go to Gmail, click on an email conversation you would like to save
Open the extension by clicking on its icon on top right corner

Alternatively, you can open the extension by using the shortcut ⌥+⇧+E on Mac or ctrl+⇧+E on Windows. You can also right clicking anywhere on the page, click on Save to Notion > “Save Page to Notion”
This will open the extension and the form you just created. You’ll see a preview of the email in the “Content” field.
You can then click on Save Page. This will save the page to Notion and take a few seconds.
The page is now saved in your Notion. Click on "Open Page in Notion" to see it.
Finally, in your Notion, you can see a new page has been created and filled with the content of your email. Well done! 🤩

Here are some common questions:
How to save emails as "text block" instead of "callout block"?
By default, the extension saves your emails as a "callout block." However, you might prefer to save them as simple text blocks, especially if you want to preview them in your Gallery Database or make it easier for Notion AI to analyze.
To save them as a text block, go back to the Home of the extension and click on the "Settings" icon.
Click on the option “Embedded Post Format” and change the value from “Callout block” to “Text Block”.
Now next time you save an email, the content will be saved as a text 🤩!
How to save whole conversation instead of the last email?
In this article, we showed you how to save the last email. If you want to save the entire email conversation, simply click on the “Mail Thread” option instead of the “Mail” option.
Clicking on this option will save the whole mail thread conversation as you will see in the preview.
After clicking on “Save Page,” you will see that all the emails from the conversation have been added to the newly created Notion page.
I don’t want to save the email attachements, is it possible?
By default, Save to Notion will find the email attachments and add them in the content after the email body.
You can turn this off by switching off the toggle “Save X attachments” in the Mail Option.
Can I save emails from another platform?
Currently, the extension only has an custom-made integration with Gmail.
However, the extension does have a way to manually extract content, so it should also work on the other platforms.
